Designing for The Wandering Flock
Want to design with The Wandering Flock Yarns, please read the following page for design submission guidelines. Designs are accepted on a rolling basis.
All design submission must have the following
Sketch of your design
Brief description of your design construction.
- Is your design knitted or crocheted, top down or bottom up? Seamed or in the round? The intended ease and look of your design, whether its oversized or fitted ETC.
Swatch of the intended fabric.
- a clear picture of swatch of all stitches used in the design. The swatch does not need to be in the final yarn, it just has to be clear.
Proposed timeline.
- This should include, when your design will be ready, when you intent to carry out testing for testing support ( if you are testing) and the month you intend of releasing said pattern.
If you have a moodboard and notes about your inspiration please include them. The point of a design submission is so that we can understand what it is you're planning on designing and making.
Please note all designs accepted by The Wandering Flock, must be graded to be size inclusive.
