Our DK yarn is a 4-ply yarn of extra fine Merino in a high-twist yarn that results in crisp stitch definition. Custom-milled to combine the best quality of the raw fiber with a high twist and superwash finish, this base has a great hand-feel, and low tendency to pill. You could work this DK yarn on a range of needle and hook sizes and still get a cozy fabric—or toss it with a Mohair for extra squishiness! This yarn is great for cables and colorwork, for layered pieces and outerwear, or for a quick baby garment.

I have never knit with anything so soft in my life! Even the scarf I made with cashmere yarn wasn't as soft as this! And this is kind of a little thing, but really means a lot to me - there have been zero knotted joins in any of the skeins I've used so far. Plus, it shipped really quickly for hand dyed wool. This was my first time ordering for Wandering Flock, and will definitely not be my last!
The pink color of my dreams! I have been searching for this specific pink and am over the moon that I finally found it. I can’t wait for it to be back in stock so I can buy more! Thank you for making the most perfect pink xx
I absolutely love this yarn. The colors are so beautiful and it feels good while knitting. I’m making a Rose City Pullover by Sari Nordlund using Terra Cotta (Can I make everything Terra Cotta in 2026? What a perfect color) and Red Rust (gorgeous). I’ve only just started the project but I’m loving it. Thank you for making beautiful yarn!
Soft and easy to work with, this DK weight in Driftwood feels so lovely close to skin. Really loved knitting both a tank top and sophie scarf with it! The color speckles can be subtle in this colorway but add such a lovely hint of color to make a fabric that goes easily with anything.
