It has a higher than average mohair-to-silk ratio so that it takes on dyes and speckles beautifully. Plus you get more fluff per inch! This cloud-soft yarn is perfect for garments you want to wear close to your skin. Knit or crochet a single strand with a wide gauge for an airy sweater or collar. Hold it with our Fingering Singles or DK to give your garments and hats a tint of color and a delicious halo.

This yarn is intended for use in fiber crafts, that include knitting, crochet, weaving, garments and etc. It is not meant for consumption/ to eat. I have never knit with anything so soft in my life! Even the scarf I made with cashmere yarn wasn't as soft as this! And this is kind of a little thing, but really means a lot to me - there have been zero knotted joins in any of the skeins I've used so far. Plus, it shipped really quickly for hand dyed wool. This was my first time ordering for Wandering Flock, and will definitely not be my last!

I absolutely love this yarn so much. It is my first time holding a mohair with a DK yarn. The result is so soft and luxurious.
I haven’t even officially started on my project but I’m already SO excited for it. This is the softest, most luxurious, and fluffiest mohair I’ve worked with already by far and I’ve only done a swatch! Color is Neon Sherbet (in different lightings) paired with my recycled Soft Chartreuse cashmere from another shop. It’s absolutely PERFECT and I can’t wait to cast on!

I LOVE your yarn, this mohair base, and your colors! And while I think what I got is pretty, I only gave it 3 stars because what I got looks like a totally different color way from the ones in your picture. The picture from your website looks much lighter and softer, and has shadings of pink and orangey yellow in the mix; but what came in my order was much stronger, deeper, and just a solid color with no shading. I will still knit with this yarn and enjoy it but it really is a very different color from what was depicted.

This is my first time ordering from the wandering flock and I'm excited to say that the yarn is absolutely STUNNING! The color is spot on, soft and everything I expected it to be. The only drawback is that it took 9 days to arrive because it was shipped a week after the label was generated and I only live a state away from the business. However, this isn't a big deal when I'm not on a time crunch, so I am looking forward to purchasing again in the future!
